Architect: Wilfrid Lawson Carter.
A Grade Il Listed Building
In the mid-1930s, W. Pearce and Company, a successful leather manufacturer in the town, purchased a section of the parkland. In 1939, they opened a purpose-built, modern factory in the Art Deco style. To complement the beauty of the area, they ensured it was set within a landscaped garden.
