Mahratta, 1526 Pacific Highway at Fox Valley Road, Wahroonga, NSW, Australia 1941 architect Douglas G Agnew. Mahratta is one of the finest Art Deco mansions on Sydney’s north shore. It also has Georgian Revival elements.
The Field family lived there until 1960. It was purchased by a bank and since 1990 it has been the School of Practical Philosophy. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.
