🍂 Pattern Overview
The Catbird Hat pattern by Aunt Ninny is a pattern by Aunt Ninny. Ravelry lists it under Knitting in the Hat → Bonnet category. The publication date shown on Ravelry is February 2014.
Source description: Aunt Ninny’s no slouch, but she loves a hat that cuts you some slack. When she spotted this little number in a certain catalogue, she knew right away it would sit her pretty in the catbird seat! So she switched out the cheesy acrylic for two skeins of Paloma, Debbie Bliss’ luscious alpaca and merino chainette yarn, and knit the four stripes in three different colors of Knitting Fever Bubbles (about 13 yards per stripe). A single skein of one color would work, too, or you could substitute any bulky novelty yarn in your stash.
