Source description: This elegant shawl was designed to showcase the beautiful Piibelehekiri lehel or Lily on a Leaf pattern found in the online exhibition of Estonian Lace held at the Lacis Museum. In my shawl it is surrounded by edges of roundels and a border at either end which are both inspired by and adapted from Nancy Bush’s Knitted Lace of Estonia.
