René Lalique – Vase ‘Tournesols’.
Undoubtedly one of the quirkiest Art Deco designs among Lalique’s repetoire & one of my personal favourites. Opalescent glass moulded with highly stylised & abstracted sunflower heads with hemispherical centres. Original blue patina. Signed “R.Lalique”. Circa 1927.
