EISENBERG Art Deco Lake House, 1947, Address: 2105 Erdman Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland, USA
Benjamin “B.N.” Eisenberg constructed the Eisenberg House in Baltimore on a lot overlooking Lake Montebello in 1947 for his second wife, Eunice. The art deco-style of the home is likely inspired by the couple’s extensive time spent in Miami Beach.
The J-shaped ranch house has an eye-catching stucco exterior, painted chartreuse with turquoise trim that features a white overhang “eyebrow”. The art deco influence is evident courtesy of the home’s curved walls and panels comprised of 12-by-12″ cedar-ribbed glass block tiles.
