Source description: This sideways-knitted triangular shawl has an all-over geometric motif of twisted stitches that is reminiscent of an acorn with its cap still attached. The motif calls to mind a warm memory of Thien-Kieu Lam’s nephew, who, as a toddler, would collect acorns wherever he went and then leave them in small piles as offerings for the squirrels. The shawl is designed to be large and cosy, keeping you warm while foraging for those small joys to be found on chilly days. Once established, the twisted stitch motif becomes intuitive to work, making for a relaxing knit. The fabric is beautiful on both sides.
