The Hôtel Hannon, also known as Maison Hannon, is a notable Art Nouveau building located in the municipality of Saint-Gilles, Brussels. Designed by architect Jules Brunfaut and completed in 1904, it was commissioned by the engineer and photographer Édouard Hannon. The building is celebrated for its unique blend of Belgian and French Art Nouveau styles.
Maison Hannon recently underwent extensive renovations and reopened in May 2023 as a museum dedicated to Art Nouveau architecture and design. The museum showcases original furniture and artwork by renowned artists such as Emile Gallé, Victor Rousseau, and Émile Claus. The ground floor retains much of its original decor, while the first floor hosts rotating exhibitions on Belgian architects like Victor Horta and Henry Van De Velde (The Brussels Times) (The Bulletin).
The museum is located at the intersection of Avenue Brugmann and Avenue de la Jonction. It operates in partnership with the nearby Horta Museum, creating a cultural tourism hub in the area.
