Construction Details
Xyris is worked from the bottom up in the round until the armholes. The work is then divided, allowing the front and back to be completed separately.
The back continues with the full graphic lace motif, while the front is shaped into a feminine scoop neckline. The shoulders are joined using a three-needle bind-off for a neat and durable finish.
Stitches are picked up around the neckline and armholes to work the wide ribbed edging, completing the garment with a clean and professional appearance.
The lace pattern uses twisted stitches, eyelets, and simple decreases worked on both right-side and wrong-side rows. The lace instructions are provided in chart form only.
Optional German short-row bust darts are also included for improved fit based on cup size.
